Material receipt is often the most complex part of a warehouse, also it is the genesis of most operational efficiencies or inefficiencies which characterize the warehouse operation.  Lighthouse WMS provides a comprehensive yet intuitive solution for material receipt at the warehouse. The WMS allows generation and management of Purchase Orders, creation and cancellation of Advanced Shipping Notifications thus extending outward to facilitate Supplier Relationship Management.

The WMS permits Truck Check-in and Dock Door allocation at the time of Gate Entry. Goods Receipt can be processed in different modes i.e. Regular ASN Receipt, Blind Receipt, Assembly Receipt & Sales Returns Receipt. Quality verification and returns management are enabled as value added services in the receipt function. Upon completion of GRN the WMS has the intelligence to suggest system guided put-away based on optimized storage and picking algorithms which may be overruled with a manual put-away task. The solution also allows the functionality of partial GRN, hierarchical packs, sales return and stock transfers.
